# Create Pool

### Overview

After selecting to create a lending pool, users must choose between two pool creation modes: [Lite](/earn/create-pool/lite.md) and [Pro](/earn/create-pool/pro.md). These modes offer different levels of customization and flexibility based on user requirements.

### Pool Creation Modes

#### Lite Mode

* Designed for quick and easy pool creation.
* Predefined settings for interest rates and parameters.
* Best suited for users who prefer a streamlined experience.

#### Pro Mode

* Offers advanced customization options.
* Users can set specific interest rates, collateral requirements, and other parameters.
* Ideal for experienced users seeking greater control over their pools.

***

**Key Considerations**

* **Minimum Token Limit**: Ensure you meet the minimum liquidity requirement for the selected token.
* **Risk Management**: Carefully set LTV and exposure levels to balance earnings potential with risk.
* **Market Demand**: Consider the demand for specific tokens and collateral types to maximize the utilization of your pool.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.rain.fi/earn/create-pool.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
